It is unconscious unfulfillment, ever-present restlessness, that is, until change, or until death. Fanaticism on the other hand is the obsessive belief in “The Answer” (which doesn’t exist, btw). It’s insecurity disguised as knowledge. But the personality knows it doesn’t know and that’s why it must prove it to itself and to everyone, because if everyone believes the same as they believe, “Then it will be real!” But it isn’t and it will never be.
