At the very core of all our Addictions is the Sacred Wound: the misunderstanding of Reality that causes all of our suffering and pushes us to seek some kind of relief. The problem is that, since we’re not actually addressing the real issue—which is that we think we’re inadequate—this temporary relief, turns into a habit of postponing the inevitable: confronting Silence.
